Pool Lifeguards

Atascocita Forest has contracted with Aquatic Management of Houston to manage the operation and maintenance of our community pool, and in anticipation of the upcoming 2016 pool season, they are seeking applications for lifeguards and have asked us to inform residents and their teenage children about this opportunity!

Job Summary

The Lifeguard has the responsibilities of maintaining order at the pool facility by preventing accidents through the enforcement of policies, rules, and regulations. Lifeguards are also responsible for monitoring the pool facilities for potential hazards or unsafe conditions and for providing first aid to patrons. Employees must be willing to obtain American Red Cross Lifeguard certification or equivalent.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards. Anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • Promote / enforce the rules and regulations of the facility
  • Manage customer relations with swimming pool patrons
  • Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency
  • Provide emergency care and treatment as required until emergency medical services arrives
  • Present professional appearance and attitude at all times; maintain high standard of customer service
  • Perform various maintenance duties to maintain a safe facility
  • Prepare and maintain appropriate facility records
  • Check to ensure that all equipment is functioning properly
  • Perform general cleaning to include restocking supplies, picking up litter, straightening deck chairs & tables
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Starting at $8.25+ depending upon experience, location, and facility type
