| General Pool Rules |
Please note: The pool is for the use of the entire subdivision. It is not available for use/rental for private functions. 1. I.D. (pool tag) must be checked before users will be admitted. 2. Obey lifeguards and other supervisory personnel. Talking with lifeguard's) on duty is prohibited. 3. Any child nine (9) years of age or under must be accompanied by said child's parent or a person eighteen (18) years of age or older. Any child between the ages of nine (9) and twelve (12) years of age may enter the pool area unaccompanied by an adult if said child has passed the swim test. 4. Running or rough-housing (throwing each other, pushing, dunking, getting on another's shoulders, splash fights, dog fights, etc. are not allowed. 5. Glass containers and alcoholic beverages are not allowed within the fenced pool area. 6. Loud music in pool area is prohibited. 7. Flotation items for swimming pools are allowed, but restricted to small sized tubes and floaties worn on the body. 8. Balls or similar small toys are allowed unless they become an annoyance to others. 9. Diving in shallow water (5 feet or less) is not allowed. 10. Stay off the rope which divides the deep water area from the shallow area. 11. Pets are not allowed within the fenced pool area. 12. Proper swimming attire is required. Cut-offs or T-shirts are not allowed in the pool. 13. Loud, abusive, or foul language will not be tolerated. 14. Chewing gum while in the water is not allowed. 15. Swimmers in the water have the right of way. Those entering the water must make certain no one is in front of them. 16. Anyone with an open sore or a communicable disease is prohibited from entering the water. 17. Jumping off backwards or in a manner that throws the head back toward the side of the pool is prohibited. Flips from the side of the pool are not allowed. 18. Anyone caught within the locked fenced pool area after hours will be suspended for the remainder of the summer and will have trespassing charges filed against him or her. 19. Parents are responsible for their children and their guests in the pool area. 20. Cocoa butter, baby oil, margarine, and similar materials are insoluble in the pool water. Swimmers are requested to use commercial suntan preparations only. 21. Be alert to help anyone in trouble. Call for help immediately. Do not move or remove injured people from the water who complain of back or neck pain. 22. Lifeguards are employed to ensure the safety of swimmers. They have authority to remove from the pool area anyone disobeying the rules or endangering the safety of himself or another person. Lifeguards have the authority to suspend the offender for one day. Additional violations will be turned over to the pool committee. Repeat violations will result in revocation of swimming privileges for the remainder of the summer. 23. Pool phone is for emergency use. Calls of short duration on the provided pay phone will be allowed by residents. 24. Members who have guests must sign them in and be responsible for them at all times. 25. ONE LONG WHISTLE BLAST MEANS TO CLEAR THE POOL! LIFEGUARDS HAVE THE ULTIMATE AUTHORITY.
1. There will be a ten minute rest period every hour. All swimmers should exit the pool during this break. Adults (18 and over) choosing to swim laps may swim at their own risk. Patrons may not sit on pool steps, dangle feet in water, etc. 2. This period is for the safety of the swimmers and provides a rest period for guards. Rotation of guards and a check out of the facility are completed at this time.
