Your deed restriction document is officially titled something like “DECLARATION OF COVENANTS, CONDITIONS, AND RESTRICTIONS FOR ATASCOCITA FOREST SECTION (your section number).  Since there are at this point 20 sections in AFCA and each section has slight differences in their restrictions, it is important that you refer to the correct document.  Once you determine which Section you are in, go to the Section Document Listing to download your document.

   If you are unsure of what section you reside in, there are several ways to determine this information:

1. If you can find a document titled “US Dept of Housing and Urban Development Settlement Statement” which was one of the millions of documents you read and/or signed when you closed on your house, you will find your section under “Property Location” (i.e. 6/8/1) where the last number (i.e. 1) will be your section.

2. If you can find your “Harris County Appraisal District Notice of Appraised Value for Property Tax Purposes” document, you will find your section under “Property Description” (i.e. LT 6 BLK 8 ATASCOCITA FOREST SEC 1).

3. If you can find a recent Tax Statement from the Trail of the Lakes MUD, you will find your section under “Property Description” (i.e. LT 6 BLK 8 ATASCOCITA FOREST SEC 1).

4. Use the Address listing on this site to determine your section.

5. Use the Plat Map available on this site to determine your section.
